I’m Molly, a Knitting Tech Editor dedicated to helping designers create patterns that knitters can follow with ease and joy. I have a Qualification with The Knitting Guild Association (TKGA) so whether you’re publishing your first design or building a collection, I’ll work with you to ensure your instructions are clear, consistent, and error-free.

How I can help

Grading

From one size to many, I can grade your pattern to ensure a perfect fit across multiple sizes. Using clear math and a keen eye for detail, I’ll help you expand your design’s reach and give knitters confidence in the finished garment.

Tech editing

I’ll carefully review your pattern for accuracy, clarity, and consistency—checking stitch counts, charts, grading logic, and formatting. My goal is to make sure your instructions are error-free and easy to follow, so knitters can enjoy every stitch.

Style sheet creation

A custom style sheet keeps your designs consistent and professional across all your patterns. I’ll create (or refine) one tailored to your preferences, so every pattern you publish feels polished, cohesive, and uniquely yours.

Social media promotion

Sharing your designs is just as important as creating them. I can help promote your work across social media platforms with professional posts that highlight your patterns and connect you with a wider audience of knitters.

About Me

Hi, I’m Molly. Knitting has been part of my life since my Nanny taught me as a young girl, and over time I discovered that what I enjoy most is not just making beautiful things, but making sure the instructions for those things are beautiful too.

As a tech editor, I bring together my love for knitting and my skills in editing and teaching. I carefully review every detail of a pattern to ensure it is clear, consistent, and ready to be knit without confusion. My goal is simple: to help designers feel confident about their work, and to help knitters succeed and enjoy the process.

When I’m not editing, you’ll usually find me knitting something for a loved one with my three dogs curled up on my lap. I believe every design deserves clarity, and every designer deserves support. I’d love to partner with you to bring your creative vision to life.
